My Apple iPad 3G
by Michael on Apr.14, 2010, under Mobile Post

Well I have had my new Apple iPad for about a week now and I really like it more than I thought that I would. I did not need it because I use a MacBook Pro but like the idea that I could do email and read my websites and do simple tasks with out opening up my MacBook Pro. I myself have had NO issues with the Wi-Fi signals like others have had. I also have not had a overheating issue either like others have had. I think the battery life is great and the screen is awesome. I use TweetDeck for my twitter client and that program has a lot of options and the best things is that it’s free. I also tried the Netflix app and it works really well but Netflix does not have a latest movies that you can stream to the iPad or anything else for that matter. I have played a couple games that are ported for the iPad and the graphics are kick ass and the game play is great. The websites that I read work really well also. I do wish that hulu would work and I figure that they are upgrading there website to support it soon. The only thing that I’m not to pleased with is when you use a app that is for the iPhone is does not look to good when you expand the app, but then again the app is for the iPhone not the iPad. The last thing that kinda pisses me off is that I have to buy iWork for it, I guess it’s not enough that I spent over $650 for the iPad and also have bought iWork for my MacBook Pro so I really feel that it should be included. Well that was my thoughts on my new Apple iPad. You can view what apps and what background I’m running on my iPad by going here.
New TIVO Premiere
by Michael on Apr.03, 2010, under Mobile Post
Well we got out new TIVO Premiere Tuesday and had to wait till Friday to get the cable card from the cable company to work, Last time that we activated our other TIVO HD with cable cards I went threw 3 different TIVO’S and about 15 different cable cards and took about 2 weeks to get it to work so I was

real leery about going threw this process again. As I already stated I got the new TIVO Premiere Tuesday so I went ahead at set it up and let it get all up to date before Friday. I got off of work and called the cable company at 1:30 and believe it or not it went right threw the first time and only took about 10 minutes and it was working. After going threw all the features with the new TIVO some things I like and other things not so much. I do like that they added a percent meter so that I know how much recording space is left (this should of been done a long time ago). It is also a lot easier to search for programs and if it can not find it on your program guide it will take you to where you can download it from Netflix, Blockbusters, and Amazon plus a couple more movies places. They also added a small video window so that you can still watch your program while you go to TIVO central which I think is also a nice touch. Other than that there is not a lot of difference from our other TIVO HD. I also like how they made the box smaller with less lights on the front and also make the entire box not so shinny, They changed the remote a little but made the remote shinny and it shows a lot of finger prints. Well that was my take on the new TIVO Premiere is my take means anything.
I'm a guy that lives in the United States. I'm above the age of 40 but under 60. I weigh somewhere between 150-200 pounds. I am married and we have (1) cat named "Belle" and (1) dog named "Roxi". I'm sure I buy to many Apple products but they have the best shit and it always works.
