New Apple Product

Well a couple of days ago I ordered something from Apple that I thought that I would never see. They now have a battery charger with 6 batteries. The price is only $29.00 which I think is not high at all from other battery chargers that I have seen at Walmart and other places like that. I received it today and thought that I would post a little photo just incase others did not know. I have two Magic Mice that need batteries all the time and these are supposed to be better performing batteries so I figured what the hell I will give them a try it an Apple product how can I go wrong right. Got Free Case

Well just a little over a month ago I ordered the free iPhone 4 case that Apple was giving away. Today I went to the post office and look at what I received the free iPhone 4 case. Not much really to talk about because the day that I bought my iPhone 4 I put a case on it and did not really need a case but what the hell it was free and it was from Apple which does not usually give ANYTHING away for free. I put in on the shelf and will use it as a back up just incase the one that Im using now breaks. I like the one that I’m suing now better than the one that I got free because none of the free one totally covered the phone like the one that I have on it now does. But like I said IT’S FREE!!!!!!!

Who Wants Sun!

Well I don’t have a lot to do today so I was working on a DVD at the kitchen island and I heard Belle our cat starting to make a little rukus in the other room and I knew that Roxi our dog was in there so I went and check it out and found this. I suppose that they were arguing over who was going to lay where and who was going to get the most sun this morning. It’s been about 20 minutes and they are still in the same place so I guess that they have it all figured out.

I Got Ice Cream

Well yesterday we went on a quest to find me a ice cream maker and after looking at every store in Springfield Friday and found nothing at all we decided to head to Quincy. I spent a little time looking online first and I found some at Bed Bath And Beyond so away we went. I found 2 of them there and they had the ones that I was looking for, they both had the stainless steel mixing bowl which is the best one to get because the plastic ones are supposed to absorb the flavoring over time and the stainless steel will not. The two that they had was the same except on was a 2 quart for $80.00 and the other was a 1 1/2 quart for $49.99 so I decided to get the cheaper one because I’m a cheap ass. After getting home I found a Vanilla Custard recipe and off to the store I went to get what was needed. I then came home and prepared the mixture from scratch none of the pre mix shit here this is all from scratch baby and I even had to cook some things first. I have the mixing bowl now in the freezer and my mixture in the fridge getting cold and tomorrow I will make my fist soft server ice cream and I’m not going to share my ice cream either so don’t ask.

Dead Pixel Test

Well after checking my stats on my website and after getting alot of email I see that people are still interested in a little web app that I made about 2 1/2 years ago that simple checks your iPhone or iPod for dead pixels. I receive about 300-450 hits a day just for this app alone. I decided to rewrite it so that it would work with the new iPhone 4 and the iPad. It’s nothing really special but I see that alot of people still try to use it. Free iPhone 4 Case

Well since Apple decided to give away a free case or bumper to anyone that bought an iPhone 4 I figured that I would get one as well, what the hell they are free and I buy PLENTY of Apple products. After looking at the cases that are free I settled for a Belkin clear case that covers the entire phone not just the edges like the bumper does. My wife nor I have not had any issues with our phones at all but what the hell they are free now if I can just get her to pick the one that she wants we will be all set. Got a email letting me know that they received my order and look like it going to take some time before it even ships to me. Maybe if she reads this she might decide to get on her phone and orders her too, probably not but it was worth a try anyway.

Storm Coming

New Shoes

Well Nicole and I decided to get out of the house yesterday and goto Quincy. The point of our trip was to go to Menards and buy some landscape lights. We have tried the solar ones and they are not worth a shit so we decided to get some low voltage electrical ones. After finding the ones that we wanted and the power supply that went with it and we also can not forget the power cord and two extra bulbs the total bill came to $351.68. That is all that I really remember because the next thing that I remember was Nicole standing over me as I was lying on the floor asking me if I was ok. I guess after the shock of the cost I had a heart attack. Not really but holy shit isn’t that alot of money for some lights. After that I decided to go get me a pair of new shoes, I found the pair that I liked and was on sale of $100.00, so as you can see these are the new shoes that I bought.

Standing In Line

Well today was the big iPhone 4 launch so we decided to go to Springfield to the AT&T store and see what they had and how long the line was. I already had a golden ticket so all I had to do was walk in the store and show my ticket and pick up our new iPhone4′s. I have read that there have been some problems with some yellowing of the screen and the camera not working and also a couple people have had the volume buttons working backwards. I made sure that both of our phones did not have any of those issues and then we just walked out. So far we have had NO problems with anything and they are just awesome as hell. Here is the line at the AT&T store this morning, nothing bad as we don’t live in a big city. Long story short glad that we upgraded our iPhone 3GS’s.

WWDC 2010

Well I’m excited about tomorrow because Steve Jobs is going to be releasing some new Apple products at the WWDC. For those of you that don’t know what WWDC means it stands for World Wide Developers Conference. Some of the rumors are that there is going to be a new Apple TV (which I have) released and there are Making the Mobile Me free (which I pay for), maybe something about the Mac Mini and of course the new iPhone 4G (which I will upgrade my 3GS). Also maybe wi-fi sync for your iDevice. A new Safari with HTML 5. Really who knows but that is what I have been reading, cant wait to watch it tomorrow really excited and probably won’t be able to sleep tonight. Well that is all that I have I will have to wait and see how many of the items that I listed is true. Also AT&T will be changing there data service and the prices, if you are already an AT&T customer that has the unlimited data plan this will not effect you but if you are becoming a new customer there is no longer an unlimited package the most that you can get now is 2GB a month for $25.00 or 250MB for $15.00 a month. Also the data package has changed for the iPad as well to same package listed above. If you have purchased your iPad before June 7th then you can still get the unlimited data plan.

My Name On Hood

Well a lot of people know that I’m a big Tony Stewart fan and I was watching the race last weekend and I saw a commercial where I could go and submit my name to be put on the front of his Burger King car that he is going to race July 3rd at Daytona. I figured that I would give it a shot and see if I could have my name on the hood of his car. I entered my name and saw that there was already a lot of names so I thought to myself that I was probably to late and would not get in. I went back about a hour later and saw that they was not taking anymore nanes so I knew that I was to late. After about a week I got an email stating that I made the cut and my name would in fact be on the hood of his car. I have been toying with getting me a new plate for my truck for about 2 months now and have a little free time on my hands today so I decided to try some more names. I have tried this before but everything that I want is already taken and today was no different. I bet that I tried about 50 different names and was getting pissed that they was all getting denied so I just decided to type this is there and what the hell do you know, I can get this plate…….are you kidding me…….really!!!!!! I would be that if I did ask for this plate they would deny me even though there website says that I can get it. If I decide to do this I will post the outcome…
